Now in its final phase of testing, the first PvP arena in the MMORPG “Zu Online,” Soulfight Altar, is a place where players can battle each other evenly.
The Soulfight Altar will reset players’ stats, armor or items will be limited and Urgent tablets used to teleport to a safe area will not function.
All of this balancing out, yet another feature will be added to offset this: Soulfight Stones. These stones will be scattered around the arena and will offer sudden boosts to players that are able to pick them up. Increased speed, huge attack power and stealth abilities are some of the boosts that will be possible to grab in the arena. This could be beneficial when a fight drags on and on, but at the same time, it seems completely unfair and just a game of luck, not skill, if a match were to end as a result of one of these boosts.
Of course, “Zu Online’s” developers have to entice you to the Soulfight Altar with some loot. If you take part in the Soulfight Altar arena PvP, you will earn Soulfight points that can be exchanged for equipment and possibly Epic sets in the MMORPG.
Those of you who use PvP to compare your skills and improve your play may like this new PvP arena, but I’m sure that those of you who like to gank on the weaker players won’t step anywhere near, in fear of being exposed of your flimsy abilities. Just a word of warning to those who have fragile egos.
