‘Cabal Online’ expansion goes live

The Soul & Sienna expansion for “Cabal Online” is now live, as announced by OGPlanet. This expansion is a gift for high-level veteran players of the free-to-play MMORPG.

A new Soul Ability System allows players to largely increase their skills with Ability Experience Points. These new points can be spent on Essence Runes that players can use to acquire passive skills of their choosing. Ability Experience Points will be available once a player reaches level 120.

The new dungeon in MutantForest holds the Altar of Siena, the place that players can go to try their new skills.

Besides the new Soul Ability System, OGPlanet has added new security to players’ accounts. A four-digit password system allows players to lock their characters, warehouse and equipment in the MMORPG using three unique passwords. A soft keyboard system with randomized numerical characters makes it nearly impossible for hackers to break in.

I say “nearly impossible” because hackers seem to have a way of finding a way eventually.

I commend OGPlanet for putting in the effort to make players’ accounts safer when cheaters and hackers online are rampant in many other MMORPGs.
